The only difference between great comedy and great drama is framing. Both require emotional depth in the actors. Do you want bring your improv to a deeper level? In this workshop you’ll get comfortable accessing and bringing emotional realness to your scenes.

Adria LeBoeuf grew up acting on many stages in coastal California, studying at the American Conservatory Theater (San Francisco), the Fun Institute (Santa Cruz) and at Shakespeare Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz). Adria has been actively teaching improv since 2006 with a focus on narrative and emotional content.
Now a practicing research scientist, Adria uses her performing arts background to teach scientists improvisation theatre. In 2012 she founded The Catalyst in Lausanne, a non-profit that teaches scientists to be better communicators through improv. The Catalyst has blossomed with theatre-, film-, improv- and game-based projects (e.g. CatCave9, Exposure Hackathon), multiple grants, and a large following. Adria performs improv regularly with CatCave9 and on scientific stages around the world. |
